Sick of hearing sympathy for heroin smugglers

IT'S not often I blow my top but here it is.

I am so sick of hearing this sympathy about those two scumbags who tried to arrange millions of dollars worth of heroin to be smuggled into Australia and should have had their lives spared.

Does anyone of you naive people who say they should have been spared have any idea what heroin actually is (it's got nothing to do with heroics, i promise you that)

Heroin is one of the most overdosed drugs causing more deaths each year than car crashes and gun crazed massicarists combined and thats just a drop in the pond for what that crap actually does.

It destroys the lives of not only those who indulge in it but it destroys the lives of those immediately around them.

It leaves children deformed at birth, creates families (using that term loosely) who bring up children with no education or even worse the wrong education that a child should get at that tender age.

It makes people rather buy a hit than to buy what is necessary for their children or, so called, loved ones. It makes people steal YOUR things to sell and trade for another hit. It kills on a daily if not hourly basis in Australia.

It's in my opinion that anyone who imports that quantity of that kind of drug should be classed as a mass murderer

They might have well just imported 20,000 guns with a hair triggers and handed them out to Australians with a sign above the barrel saying "look in here". These guys were more than content to kill us Aussies.

For what??? i'll tell you what for, all they wanted to do was add more paper their wallet.

A murderer gets put away in Australia for 20 odd years for killing one person. These guys were content to kill the lives of possibly hundreds if not thousands just for their own selfish gain.

183,000 people die from heroin overdoses world wide each year and yet we try to protect 2 of those mass murderers.

How can anyone justify the compassion to those two scumbags when they were essentially planning on handing out death to our fellow Australians.
