Popular kids’ activity goes online

A POPULAR free Mackay family event has gone online.

Artspace’s monthly BMA Kidspace is now virtual.

Parents can help their toddlers make things, play and sing along at a specially designed BMA Kidspace ­online activity page.

The site offers simple make-at-home art and music ideas developed for children up to five. The program has been designed by BMA Kidspace artists.

Artist Rosemary Payne will teach via video how to make recycled bottle shakers and artist Pam Hutley shows how to create drums from recycled objects found at home. The instruments will be handy for Kathleen Campbell’s music session.
