THIS weekend is your last chance to support South Burnett actress Leah Purcell in the lead-up to the 2019 Logie Awards.

The Murgon star is one of the nominees for the Most Popular Actress award in the 61st TV Week Logie Awards.

Purcell is in the running for her role as Rita Connors in Australian prison drama series Wentworth which aired on Foxtel.

She can be nominated for the TV Week Silver Logie for the standout performance of an actress in an Australian program, televised between April 1, 2018, and March 31, 2019.

To be considered for the top award, Purcell will need to make it to the top four in her category.

Fans of the show can also vote for Wentworth.

Voting for the Logies will close on Sunday, March 31.

Purcell is also a singer, director, playwright and author and grew up in Murgon as the youngest of seven children.

She was nominated for a 2013 TV Week Logie Award in the most outstanding actress category for her role as Grace in the 2012 drama Redfern Now.

Purcell also won the 2013 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award for Best Lead Actress in a televised drama category for Redfern Now.
