Entertainment icon to inspire at Mackay business event
A HOUSEHOLD name for decades, Kerri-Anne Kennerley is one of Australia's most iconic media personalities.
The inspiring entertainer will give an insight into her more than 30 year career when she arrives in Mackay on November 23 to speak at The Daily Mercury Mackay Club's second event of 2018/19.
Kerri-Anne began in the entertainment industry at the tender age of 13, hosting a children's show, and has gone on to present for the Ten Network, Channel 7 and the Nine Network, tour Australia as a cabaret singer, work in radio, feature on Dancing with the Stars and has even won a gold Logie.
Away from the spotlight, Kerri-Anne is a successful business woman and a tireless charity worker. She has served on the council for the Order of Australia and was proud to give honours to great Australians.
A stellar line-up of inspirational speakers will be joining us for the Club events this year including Samuel Johnson on August 24, Paul de Gelder on March 15, 2019 and Andrea Ricci on May 31, 2019.
The Daily Mercury Mackay Club is open only to local businesses and not the general public.
